Culinary Program

Our 8-week culinary training program works closely with local restaurants, cafes and hotels to provide job opportunities to individuals in Vancouver who experience barriers to employment. As a HAVE student, you'll complete food safety training and learn all aspects of running a commercial kitchen.

Our students work hard to provide fresh, quality catering to our clients while simultaneously transforming their own lives. By choosing our socially conscious catering service, you contribute to the education and supported employment of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside community.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorship is a meaningful way to make an impact in the community. Expedited Hiring Process

We work closely with local restaurants, cafes, and hotels to provide employment for our graduates. All graduates have completed their food safety training, are pre-screened with local references, and have skill levels ranging from dishwashers to line cooks.  When you hire a HAVE graduate, you help them build a positive future.
